April Employee Spotlight- Jamie Bowman

Welcome to the Employee Spotlight! Every month we focus on one ProMax team member- what they do here to help your dealership succeed AND a little about them personally as well. This month the spotlight is on Digital Sales Executive Jamie Bowman!

Describe what you do at ProMax and how it impact our clients.

I partner with automotive dealerships to provide tools that will encourage online shoppers to engage on their websites. 

What is the most rewarding part of your job?

I believe in our digital products. My greatest rewards are when dealerships celebrate their success with me, which happens a lot.

What do you enjoy doing most outside of work?

Feeling fulfilled I do a great job at my career and being able to spend my home time fulfilled as a mother and a wife and a dog mom! Plus I love home decorating and landscaping.

What is your favorite line from a movie?

"I love you more than marching bands and marshmallows"

If you could learn to do anything new, what would it be?

Play the piano.

What are 3 words you’d use to describe working at ProMax?

Family - Fulfillment - #WhyProMax (not a word, but something that resonates through my bones here)

Who would play you in a movie about your life, and what would the title of the movie be?

Sandra Bullock in She's Is Persistent haha.

At what age did you become an adult, and how did you know it happened?

12, responsibilities. The better question is, when did I become a mature adult. I think around 35, but the verdict is still out on that one. 🙂

What 3 traits define you?

1. I am passionate about my career and family.
2. I am a strong woman. 
3. I truly want the best for everyone.

What would you most like to tell yourself at age 13?

Slow down, take a deep breath and enjoy the ride. You got this girl!

Tell us something about yourself that would surprise us.

My first job was at the Charlotte Locker. Yep, I wrapped meat.

What advice would you give to recent new hires?

Build your foundation. Take it slow, learn your fundamentals. There is so much reward when you help others you work with and our dealerships and the reward does not have to be monetary.

What does true leadership mean to you?

I find that mentors are more leaders to me than anything. Being open to share what you know to help someone else without expecting anything in return is a true mentor. And there are many here at ProMax/Blackhawk Digital.

What inspires you?

Listening to others, about anything.

If you could pick one superpower, what would it be?

To slow time. I want to listen more, experience more, share my time more. Life goes by so fast and I want to enjoy it all even more.

What are you looking forward to most this year?

Experiencing the everchanging environment we have going on. Looking back there was a lot of negative in 2020, but there was A LOT of positive too. I am excited to see and meet all the new dealerships I will build relationships with and I can't wait to experience our ProMax/Blackhawk Digital growth with them.
