Greetings ProMax dealers. Times are tough right now and we're all facing new challenges. With a handful of exceptions, our entire ProMax team is working remotely for the foreseeable future. You can still reach us at the same numbers:

We're equipped for this, and hopefully you haven't noticed any difference in service or availability on your end. You may have noticed the sounds of kids or dogs or washing machines in the background, though! So, in the spirit of everyone doing their best to deal with this situation, we thought it would be fun to share some photos on Facebook of ProMax employees working at home. 

We did a series of "Our New Co-Workers"- kids and pets and spouses that are now at work with us. Do you like cat pics? Cute kids? Good doggos? Of course you do! So follow us on Facebook! 

Tuesday we posted an album of "Our Home Offices"- some great, some not-so-great, some right next to the furnace and water heater. Wednesday we did "Wish You Were Here"- pictures of the handful of ProMax employees still holding down the fort at ProMax HQ. And Thursday we did "Adventures in Homeschooling"- kids (and some pets) of our staff doing schoolwork at home.

ProMax Version Release 2020.3.25.1 - March 26, 2020

Booking Inventory Changes Coming

In order to improve accuracy we're updating the process for booking inventory in ProMax. Small changes are being made for each of the major book value providers, with Black Book being the first to be updated. If your dealership uses Black Book, expect to be updated for this change in the coming days. Updates for Kelley Blue Book and NADA book values will be coming over the next several weeks.

Where will you see these changes?

Anywhere you book in Inventory, most notably: on the Trade Screen (in ProMax as well as ProMax Mobile), the Quick Appraisal Tool, and Used Inventory records.

What's different?

Not much on your end. Equipment will need to be selected separately for Black Book. The Standard Equipment list and the Black Book Equipment list are now separate. If you want equipment to affect the Black Book values, you MUST click the "EQUIPMENT" hyperlink and select it in the “BlackBook API Equipment” panel in the Equipment Popup:

Black Book has very few options that affect values. Also, in many cases, entering the VIN will auto-select equipment. If the VIN specifies equipment options that are auto-included in the Black Book values, they are selected by default (and cannot be deselected.) If they are available but not auto-included, they can be selected and deselected like normal equipment options.

Changes & Fixes in This Version

• Trade stock #s added during delivery are now able to be printed on Forms. [Item 592273]
• Unwinding a delivered vehicle now also unwinds the delivery on the showroom visit. [Item 580380]
• We added "Delivery Date" as an option on the Prospect Activity Report Builder. [Item 589293]
• We added "Company Name" as a variable on the Sold Vehicle Profit Report Builder. [Item 592090]
• We enhanced our integration with third party vendors sending credit app data to ProMax to increase the amount of information captured. [Item 583032]

• With a few exceptions, our ProMax team is working remotely for the foreseeable future. We are fully equipped for this and you won't notice any difference in service or availability on your end (other than maybe hearing a dog barking when you call your DSS.)
  
  
• All non-essential travel has been suspended until further notice. We will be increasing the frequency of webinars and online training sessions during this time.
  
  
• ProMax is fully cloud-based and we don't anticipate any interruption in your service. We are in constant communication with our third party vendors to ensure we maintain complete functionality.

We will continue to provide updates as necessary. Keep an eye on our blog, Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn pages for ongoing communication and suggestions on how we can help your dealership get through this challenging time.

ProMax Version Release 2020.3.3.1 - March 4, 2020

Push Notifications for

'Lead Inactivity Warning'

and 'Conversica Update'

We recently added Push Notifications in the ProMax App for 'Text Received' and 'Salesperson Reassignment'. This week we're adding two more push notifications: Lead Inactivity Warnings and Conversica Updates.

Once enabled, these push notifications can be sent to any tablet or mobile device that uses the ProMax App. The push notifications will now launch the ProMax App from your device.

To set up Lead Inactivity Warnings, go to Admin -> Lead Delivery and under the Activity Monitoring tab check the box in the "Notify via ProMax App (Push Notification)" column.

To set up Conversica Updates, go to Admin -> User Access and click on the "Cell Phone #" hyperlink for the desired user.

Option for 'Default Note View'

We've added the ability to set a Default Note View for the Customer Workscreen.

In the "Misc." section at the bottom right of the Admin -> User Access settings there's now a "Default Note View" dropdown with options to Show All Notes, Hide System Notes, and more.
