New 'System Security' Options

We're always working to improve security, and this week we've added two new great new features that do just that.  If you suspect (or know) that a password breach has occurred, you now have the option to force one or more users to change their password on their next login.  You can also force one or more users to set up their password security questions.

You can access both these features in a dropdown from a new header selection in Admin User Access labelled "System Security":

You'll notice a new column of checkboxes to the left of the users' names.  Check the user or users you want to complete the action, then select the action from the dropdown.  If you want ALL users to complete an action, check the box at the top of the user checkbox column.

 

Updates to Do Not Sell Feature

In our last post we added a "Do Not Sell" checkbox to the Customer Workscreen that can be accessed by managers only.  Checking the box prevents running a credit report, delivering a deal, etc. for that customer without a manager override.  You can track all of this information in a new report called the Do Not Sell Report, located in the "Compliance Management" section of the Reports menu.  

This week we made a number of updates to this feature, including improved default sort settings, better prompts, and adding checks to the Instant Screen form.  [Items 201167, 249672, 249685, 249730, & 250407]

 

Other Changes & Fixes

• We added a 'When closed all day' option to the Internet Lead AutoResponder Configuration.  [Item 225454]

• We corrected an issue with the "Submit this Deal" button on the F&I screen not defaulting to the selected deal.  [Item 248332]

• We updated our FordDirect disposition reporting.  [Item 239207]

• We corrected an issue that was preventing Build a Lease deals from displaying on the Leaderboard.  [Item 241079]

• We updated the Leaderboard so that Wholesale deals are not included in the drilldowns.  [Item 248958]

• We fixed a bug with the Recall screen that could display a deleted visit as the most recent visit.  [Item 234538]

ProMax Version Release 2015.9.1.1 - September 2, 2015

vAuto Issue Resolved

There was an ongoing issue preventing ProMax users from pushing trade appraisals to vAuto. This issue has been resolved, and we apologize for any inconvenience you experienced.

  

ProMax Mobile Updates

We replaced the Trade 'toggle' on the Mobile Workscreen with a more intuitive dropdown:

Now you can select which trade to open when you click the "Edit" button.

 

We also added a new "Quick Tools" menu to the ProMax Mobile header:

The first Quick Tool we've added is "Change Your Password".  Look for more Quick Tools to come.

 

Everyone.net Account Request Form

We've added a form making it easier for you to request a new account from everyone.net, a 3rd party email provider utilized by many ProMax users.  In your Admin Dealer Email Settings there's a new link labelled "Request New everyone.net Account".  Click it and the form will pop up:

Fill out the form, and your request will go to our Tech Support team.

• Submitting to DealerTrack no longer requires 2 years of data for residence and employment.  We also updated trade info submissions to only go through if they have a trade payoff or trade allowance.  [Items 245324 & 246251]

• We recently added a number of columns to the BDC Sales & Management Report and the Lead Management & Results Report.  We are now re-adding the New/Used Sold columns that were removed.  [Item 240940]

• Changes made to a customer's ZIP code in Desking will now be reflected on the Customer Workscreen.  [Item 188042]

• We've added the ability to enter Trade information on DealerTrack business submittals.  [Item 220308]

• We updated the Internet Dashboard Leads to display "Co-App" for leads that are co-apps as opposed to the primary applicant, along with a new checkbox in the upper right that enables you to "Hide Co-Applicants".  [Item 93261]

• We corrected an issue with the Forms variable "First Payment Due on Signing" that was printing "0/1" rather than :No/Yes".  [Item 247392]

• We've improved the Submittal Configuration popup for DealerTrack deals on the Submit screen.  The dropdown will now default to the last selected employee rather than defaulting on the first name on the list.  [Item 191706]

• We corrected an issue with OEM Lead Reports for Ford and Hyundai dealers that was incorrectly displaying leads as red when they shouldn't have been.  [Item 244230]

• We updated the time calculation on Inactivity Alerts to account for dealerships in places that do not observe Daylight Savings Time (e.g. the state of Hawaii).  [Item 221682]

• We fixed an issue with the Ebrochure not respecting the "Don't Show Rebates" setting in some instances.  [Item 239920]

• We made a number of updates to the CB Analysis Report.  We fixed a bug with the "Send Via Email" button that was generating blank emails in some cases rather than sending the report.  We also made some stylistic improvements and made it so the 'compile' was saved when clicking on hyperlinks and navigating back to the report.  [Items 244704, 244708, 244708, 244925, & 245602]

• We fixed an issue with CAC export settings not saving correctly.  [Item 245007]

• We added pagination to the Email Campaign Statistics Report Detail.  [Item 243632]

• Delivered vehicles are now counted as "Sold" on the Advertising & Sales Report.  [Item 180332]

• We updated the Finance Breakdown Report  to count static deals as their appropriate deal type.  [Item 248964]

• We corrected an issue with the Internet Dashboard where a time discrepancy could arise if the user's computer was set to a different time zone than the dealership.  [Item 240428]

• We updated the Alt Choice Proposal to ensure Trade In Tax Settings obeyed the Admin settings.  [Item 243863]

• We fixed a printing issue with the BDC & Sales Management Report that could cause column headers to be cut off.  [Item 228073]
