New Individual User Access Setting for

"Use Integrated Screen Saver"

We've added a new option for dealerships that want to have the ProMax screen saver enabled for some users but not for others.  In Admin --> User Access under "Misc." there's a new checkbox "Use Integrated Screen Saver":

This change will allow you to disable the screen saver for sales reps that share computers, for instance, but keep it enabled it for managers that don't want to be automatically logged out so quickly.

Note: in Admin --> Dealership Info there is still a "Default Integrated Screen Saver setting" checkbox.  This box determines whether the default setting for the dealership is to have the screen saver on or off.  The User Access setting for individual users will override this default.

  

 

 New 'Status' Filter on 

Prospect Activity Report Builder

We added a new 'Status' filter to the Prospect Activity Report Builder.  Now you can pre-select statuses for Reports that you set up to run automatically:

 So if you're scheduling Reports to focus on a certain Status, like 'Hot' for instance, you no longer need to sift through all the other data.

Other Changes & Fixes

• We added a great new Communications variable for "Desired Vehicle Photo".  This will automatically populate your Emails and Letters with a great vehicle photo.  If the vehicle has multiple photos, it will default to the first one on the list.  [Item 194740]

• We updated the "Sale Price-Rebate" variable on the Sold Vehicle / Profit Report so that Lease Cash is subtracted where applicable.  [Item 201429]

• We made some more improvements to our new Cash Rollback Proposal.  [Item 203018]

• We updated the Ford Credit Application to automatically print the date in the
  provided space next to the signature line whether the digital signature is
  captured or not.  [Item 204900]

• We updated the Form Variables for several Colorado tax rates so that they display out to the third decimal place.  [Item 201637]

• We updated our Sales Tax calculations on leases for dealers in the state of Iowa.  [Item 202099]

ProMax Version Release 2014.12.9.2 - December 10, 2014

 New Training Recordings in ProMax

We're now offering all of our training classes as recordings!  Just click the green question mark icon at the top of ProMax, and you'll see a list of all of the categories:

Then click on any Position or Category for a list of recordings and their length:

These recordings cover everything you need in great detail and enable you to focus on just the aspects of ProMax that you want to learn about without having to spend time on the aspects you already know.  For instance, there is a class on sending Bulk Email.  It is 4 minutes long, and covers only Bulk Email.  

The recordings are available to you 24/7, and the groupings by Position or Category make them ideal for getting just the training you need.  

 

Other Changes & Fixes

• We added a new Signature variable in Communications.  Now you can add <Signature> to the bottom of any of your email templates and if the sender has a signature set up, it will automatically populate.  [Items 199663 & 204889]

• We did some optimization on Retail/Lease Search that will speed up calculation time and prevent ProMax from timing out, particularly for dealers (and groups) with large inventories.  [Item 192596]

• We added the ability to change the Market Value on the Enhanced Multi Option Proposal.  [Item 202484]

Introducing the Mobile Workplan:

Your Daily Workplan in ProMax Mobile!

What's the #1 thing that Sales Reps use in ProMax?  The Daily Workplan, right?

Don't you wish there was a way you could access the Daily Workplan from your smartphone or tablet?  Well now there is- the new Mobile Workplan!

With the new Mobile Workplan you can do essentially everything you can do in your ProMax Daily Workplan:

• View all of your Scheduled Activities and Daily Tasks

• Access Customers and Outbound Call Notes

• Send Texts, Emails, and E-brochures

It's easy to use, too.  Login to ProMax Mobile and select "My Workplan" from the menu.  If you are logged in from a tablet or your desktop this option will take you to a screen with both grids, just like the Daily Workplan view in ProMax with Activities on top and Tasks on the bottom.  

If you are on a smartphone, two selections will fan out, "Appointments" and "Tasks" and you can select one or the other.  Only the grid you select will be displayed, and you can navigate back to access the other.

With the new Mobile Workplan, Sales Reps can
complete almost all of their daily tasks and activities
right from their phone!

 

Other Changes and Fixes

• We've updated our new Enhanced Multi Option Proposal with an "Adds/Accessories" amount line and detailed list.  [Item 201213]

• We enlarged the Prolink and Website Usage Report popup to prevent URLs from being cut off.  [Item 187077]

• We decreased the size of the top margin on the Used Vehicle Bookout Sheet to make it take up fewer pages.  [Item 169387]

• We added a line for the APR on retail deals to the original Multi Option Proposal.  [Item 203528]

• The date will now be automatically added next to the applicant and co-applicant signatures on the Ford Credit App.  [Item 83147]

• We fixed a bug with Build a Lease deals that was causing ProMax to crash for dealers in California and Indiana.  [Item 201040]

• We updated Sales Tax calculations on used car deals with a trade for dealers in the state of Kentucky.  [Item 198903]

• We corrected an issue with the GAP Insurance popup not always reflecting the correct values.  [Item 187990]
