ProMax Version Release - 2014.6.25.1 June 25, 2014

 

Changes & Fixes

• We corrected an issue that was preventing some DealerTrack submissions.  [Item 182226]

• We added a new Forms variable for Engine Size.  [Item 179171]

• Taxes on any taxable Aftermarket items are now rounded before being added to Sales Tax.  [Item 176305]

• We made several Desking improvements for dealers in California.  ZIP codes will now be used (in addition to county) when determining county tax overrides, and you're now able to toggle between the County dropdown and a ZIP code edit field on Desking screens.  The Counties popup for California in Admin now has new ZIP code options and a 'Smog Abatement Fee' checkbox as well.  [Items 164217, 179052, & 180641]

• We added a 'Team' filter to the Daily Workplan Management Report that enables you to view one or more teams without having to search through the entire list of personnel.  [Item 177116]

• We added 'Lease F&I' to all menus with Desking options.  Now you can navigate directly to the Lease F&I screen from the main Desking tab, the Prospect Log, and the Customer Workscreen among other places.  [Item 165537]

• We improved our process for matching an employee ID when submitting deals to DealerTrack.  [Item 180181]

• We added Click To Call to the phone scripts and also updated the look of the screen:

• We made a back end change to streamline RouteOne submissions with a Switched App and Co App.  [Item 135557]

• We eliminated an error that could cause ProMax to crash when cancelling out of a DealerTrack submittal.  [Item 177248]

• We updated the new "Requested By" column on the Risk Based Pricing Report to also show the employee name on EZ Up pulls.  [Item 179774]

• We updated the name of the AutoResponder to the more accurate "Internet Lead AutoResponder Configuration".  [item 180623]

• We added an option in Lease Lender Guidelines for "First Payment not due at signing".  [Item 179775]

• You no longer have to manually run OFAC checks on incoming leads.  [Item 41333]

• We addressed an issue with Automated Follow-Up that was sometimes not triggering email followup to a Showroom Visit.  [Item 179578]

Other Changes and Fixes

• We corrected a compatibility issue between Email 2.0 and some IMAP clients that would sometimes incorrectly mark incoming messages as 'Read' when they weren't.  [Item 180573]

• We updated the editing of Email 2.0 templates from the Communications popup so that clicking on 'Refresh List' is not required to save changes you've made.  [Item 180740]

Manage Internet Specials From

the New & Used Vehicle Web Report

Now it's much easier to manage and edit your ProMax Websites Internet Specials!  We added several new columns to the New and Used Vehicle Web Report: "Vehicle Special", "Start Date", and "End Date".  

Now you can see all your specials in one place, and turn them on or off by simply checking or unchecking their boxes.  You can also edit the Start and End Dates on the fly.  Just click on the hyperlinks and set custom dates.

 

Change Settings in Email 2.0

We added a gear icon at the top of Email 2.0 that enables you to adjust your settings in 2.0 itself, without having to go into ProMax.  Now you can make quick config changes on the fly with your mobile device:

• We fixed an issue with our new Automatic Email sending in Automated Follow-Up that was preventing the "Exclude this email from the Automatic Sending process (If Enabled)" checkbox from saving in some instances.  [Item 179650]

• You now have the ability to use multiple SMS numbers for advertising purposes and customize the names of their Lead Sources.  [Item 180255]

• We updated the Email 2.0 Insert Vehicle feature to respect your Ebrochure settings.  [Item 177996]

• We added a random password generator in Admin User Access.  Just click on the 'Password' hyperlink and a popup will appear asking if you want to 'Overwrite existing password?'  [Item 87167]

• We updated the look of our great new Click To Call feature.  [Item 176765]

• Changing the Package Code in a vehicle's Inventory record now generates a Vehicle Note.  [Item 166730]

• We corrected a problem with scrolling on the Proposals screen.  [Item 160915]

• We updated our Privacy Notice config options to ensure that they can never be set up to contradict one another.  We also added the option to change the business name you use on the notice.  [Items 77551 & 179134]

• We streamlined our process for disabling unused Email 2.0 accounts to ensure that no recently edited users will be auto-disabled.  [Items 179348 & 180197]

• We fixed an issue with the hyperlink on ProMax Websites leads coming into ProCredit Express and ProCredit Desking systems.  [Item 172512]

• We updated Lead Delivery to prevent a Lead Source from being deleted if it is used as a default or referenced by another Lead Source.  [Item 177135]

• We removed the 2 year employment requirement from DealerTrack submissions, as it is no longer required.  [Item 170398]

• We fixed an issue that was sometimes preventing scheduled reports from running.  [Item 176831]

• We added a "Requested By" column to the Risk Based Pricing Report.  [Item 173877]

• We updated the "View Profit" setting in Admin User Access to ensure it was respected in all instances.  [Item 174568]

• We eliminated a fatal error that sometimes occured when navigating from Working Deals to other screens.  [Item 176179]

• We fixed an issue with the BDC & Sales Management Report.  [Item 178947]

Request 'Read Receipts'
In Email 2.0

 

Email 2.0 now supports requesting 'Read Receipts' from message recipients:

If the recipient completes the read receipt, you'll get a notification

Note: some consumer email clients support this feature but many do not, and for that reason we cannot control which recipients receive these Requests and what is returned from their email client.  For instance, Outlook does pass along the request and returns a delivery receipt, but Gmail does not. 

 

Other ProMax Enhancements

• We made it easier to turn Autoresponder messages on and off.  [Item 176085]

• Email 2.0 users can now attach RTF files to messages.  [Item 179063]

• When you enter a ZIP Code on the Customer Workscreen it will now auto-populate the correct County as well as the City.  [Item 164218]

• We expanded the Owner Base 'APR' column so it can display up to seven digits.  [Item 179071]
