Texting in ProMax
Improvements

In our last post we rolled out Texting in ProMax and dealers are loving it! We've continued to make improvements to this great new feature based on suggestions from dealers like you.
- Inbound text messages from new prospects to your Virtual Phone Number will now automatically create leads! All inbound non-customer text messages will come in as "SMS Inbound" leads with the customer's cell phone number. This lead will also show up in the Message Center under Internet Leads and in the Internet Prospect Log.
- A new add-on is available: The ability to use your dealership's Virtual Phone Number for inbound voice traffic. In instances when a customer attempts to call the number you've set up for texting, you can have these calls forwarded to your dealership phone number. This add-on is available for a small additional monthly charge and can be activated immediately.
- We made several improvements to the 'Edit SMS Snippets' feature. We removed the 160 character hard limit to better accommodate variables. Now, when editing a message that goes over 160 characters the length display will change to red.
- We updated the display in Automated Follow-Up to display the text description in the "Correspondence" column of the grid.

New Email Settings Report
We've made a lot of improvements to Email in ProMax in recent months, including our new HTML Editor and improved delivery times. This week we've added the new Email Settings Report.
Available in Admin -> User Access this report lists all your employees and their current email settings, allowing you to quickly view and update settings. The report also has Import and Export functions enabling you to export a CSV file to Excel, adjust the settings for multiple users at once, then import back into ProMax.

To setup or change the settings for any individual employee, just click on their name in the first column of the report. This takes you to the Config screen with easy-to-use Quick Settings and a "Generate Random" Password option:

We've also added an easy way for admins to configure default settings, a "Dealer Email Settings" hyperlink:

Additional Changes and Fixes
- We clarified the wording on an Admin User Access checkbox from "Use SMS Only For Lead Notifications" which now reads "Do not send SMS on Sales Rep Changes" and we updated its functionality as well. [Items 163158 & 163159]
- We made a number of enhancements to the Generic Lead Import, including better customer data parsing to support additional fields, and improved dupe lead matching. [Items 161296 & 165127]
- We improved your ability to do a Partial Name Match on incoming Call Manager Leads. [Item 153927 & 163265]
- We updated the appearance and functionality of the Schedule Activity popup on the Customer Workscreen. [Item 161131]
- We fixed a bug with adding signatures to e-mail messages. [Item 138079]
- For dealers participating in the Chrysler Engage program we enabled an automated prompt to send unsold prospects to the manufacturer. [Item 131842]
- We added a Trigger Leads Report for dealers who use Market Thief. [Item 161816]
- We fixed an issue with the CB Analysis Report for ProCredit Express dealers that was preventing data from populating properly. [Item 151333]
- We made some necessary adjustments to the "Upfront Only" setting on Lease deals. [Item 162799]
