Interest Rate Comparison Proposal

We're excited to announce another great new selling tool in ProMax: the Interest Rate Comparison Proposal!  Interest rates are at historical lows, and this powerful new proposal compares terms from your customer's previous vehicle purchase to the more favorable terms currently available.  Just another way to illustrate that the time to buy is NOW!

All that's required is a name and address to run an Instant Screen with Auto Summary:

The Deal dropdown in the Interest Rate Comparison box contains any saved deals for the customer.  

The New & Trade columns for 'Rate', 'Amt. Financed', and 'Term' can be manually entered, to calculate the Payment and Total Interest.  Adjust these values to find the best deal!

Anytime an Interest Rate Comparison Proposal is printed for a customer, a note is generated on their Customer Workscreen.  

This tool is also accessible from the 'Closes' button in the Cash, Retail, Wholesale, and SubPrime Desking screens:

The Interest Rate Comparison Proposal is another great tool in ProMax that helps you make money, not just count it!

• Print and export options have been added to the Inventory Maintenance screen, identical in function to those on the Unbooked Inventory screen.  [Item 136399]
• We fixed an issue with taxes on retail deals in the state of Wisconsin that involved a leased trade-in.  [Item 143959]
• We added a number of new Lease Payment Tax Options for the state of California.  Under the State Options in Admin Tax Rates you now have the option to not tax Credit Insurance, GAP Protection, Title and Reg, and Non Taxable After Market, in additon to License Fees.  [Item 143080]
• We corrected a bug that was causing e-mails to sort unnecessarily when selecting all e-mails in smaller folders.  [Item 143748]
• We made improvements to the Tennessee lease deal calculations.  [Item 144065]
• We fixed an issue with rebates on the Multi Option Proposal.  [Item 144931]

• ProCredit Express dealers now have the ability to send a Route One 5-liner application from the Run CB screen.  [Item 142585]
• We made further improvements to the new Wisconsin Lease Tax calculations.  [Item 143815]
• An "As Scheduled" note is now generated whenever a contact is designated "as scheduled" in Admin Automated Follow-Up.  [Item 141907]
• We did some maintenance to Forms variables, and made some new additions.  There are now separate City, State, and ZIP variables for each trade on deals with more than one.  [Items 143311 & 143254]
• We changed KBB bookout sheets to say "Kelley Blue Book" rather than just "Blue Book".  [Items 143609 & 144311]

 Automated Price Drop Alert E-mails

Now that our enhanced integration is complete, dealers with FirstLook can set up automated Price Drop Alert e-mails in ProMax!

Whenever there is a FirstLook price update for a car that one of your prospects listed as a Desired Vehicle in ProMax and the price has dropped a certain amount, ProMax will automatically generate and send this attractive e-mail to the prospect:

Here's how easy it is to set it up in your system:

Go to Admin -->  Dealership Settings -->  Inventory Settings

Check the box for "Enable Price Drop Alert Notifications" and the Price Drop Alert Configuration pop-up will appear.  The default price drop is $500, but you can change this amount.  You can also write a comment to go in each e-mail below the vehicle information.

The 'from' address on the e-mail will be the sales rep associated with that customer.  If that sales rep doesn't have an e-mail address configured in ProMax and there is a 2nd sales rep associated with the customer who does, it will use theirs.  You can also set a default e-mail 'from' address for use if no salesperson associated with the customer has an e-mail address, or if no salesperson is assigned to the customer.

Get your unsold traffic back on the lot!  Just a few moments of set-up, and ProMax will do the rest!

• We're always working to make your Reports better, removing bugs and adding new options to get you the data you need.  This week we improved sorting on the Sold Vehicle Profit Report, and did some maintenance on the Total Finance Breakdown Report.  We fixed an issue with the New Vehicle Web Report and the Used Vehicle Web Report.  [Items 143304, 143269, & 11842]

• You can now view a Print Preview when printing a standard credit app with lender notes.  [Item 142235]

• For Wisconsin dealers, there is a new Forms variable for "Taxable Portion of Monthly Payment" to reflect the new state tax legislation.  [Item 141871]

• We fixed an issue with reverse phone number lookup for Co-Applicants on the Customer Workscreen.  [Item 142895]

• We improved e-mail sorting by time in folders with fewer than 100 items.  [Item 133971]

• FirstLook automated Price Drop Alerts.  [Item 142529]

New Enhanced Integration

Now Available!

We're excited to announce that our new, enhanced integration with FirstLook is complete!  In addition to sending trade-in data to FirstLook for evaluation, users can now automatically import pricing data and vehicle comments from FirstLook into their ProMax system.  

How can this help your dealership?

• Have pricing and inventory records update automatically
• Import great vehicle comments directly to e-mail proposal templates as well as the window sticker
• Configure ProMax to have pricing updates automatically trigger Price Drop Alert e-mails to get unsold traffic back on the lot

• We did some more maintenance on the New Vehicle Web Report and the Used Vehicle Web Report.  You are now able to build the report using just a minimum value or just a maximum value for individual filters.  [Items 141742 & 141814]
• We added a new Admin setting that gives you the option of blocking out the "Term", "Pymt", and "APR" columns in Owner Base for sales reps and BDRs.  [Item 139353]
• We fixed an issue with the list of lenders when moving from a Cash to a Retail F&I deal.  [Item 141783]
• We did some maintenance on the window sticker, adding new configuration options and alphabetizing the equipment list.  [Item 141176]
• We fixed an issue with reverse phone number lookup on the Customer Workscreen.  [Item 142773]
• The California county fee is now included on lease deals.  [Item 135841] 
• The 9-Pay Proposal now prints the lease One Pay amount when printing from the Retail/Lease screen.  [Item 136833]
• Attempting to change the password of a user imported from Reynolds was causing errors.  This issue has been fixed.  [Item 142421]
• We updated the Lease Tax formulas for the state of Wisconsin to conform to new tax legislation.  [Item 142756]
• We fixed an issue that was causing delivered Subprime deals to show up as Retail deals when accessed from certain screens.  [Item 142195]
• We corrected a decimal rounding discrepancy that was causing some deal payment amounts to be off by one cent.  [Item 137522]
• We did some maintenance on the horizontal Multi Option proposal.  We added a new "Other Products" line that includes Aftermarket, Service Contract, and GAP amounts and is included in the calculation of Total Purchase Price.  All Accessories Prices are now entered into the Added Equipment line if an MSRP is not present.  [Item 137366]
