ProMax Dealer Updates

ProMax version release - 9.7.14. May 31, 2012

Version 9.7.14 is scheduled for release on May 31, 2012.  

Version Highlights:

• Instant Screen and AutoSummary improved - the Instant Screen popup now contains AutoSummary information on the same screen.
• There's a new security feature available to limit access to ProMax and/or Credit Reports by the end user's IP Address.  This works in conjunction with the Computer Authorization feature available in the User Access portion of the Admin section.  This flexible system allows you to select Computer Authorizations, IP Ranges, or both together to form an enhanced Multi-Factor Authentication solution.  This feature was requested by a few larger dealer groups.

Other Additions:

• There is a new column available on the Inventory Report Builder:  ACV + Pack.  Requested last week by Joe from a Buick/GMC dealership in West Virginia.
• The customer's Desired Vehicle is now listed on the Lead Sheet printout.  Requested two weeks ago by Craig from a used car dealership in Wisconsin.
• When printing, or submitting credit applications via Fax or via Electronic Submittals, customers with blocked phone numbers due to the Do Not Call List will have their original phone number listed.  We now also add a customer system note whenever an application is printed or viewed to track who might have viewed these blocked phone numbers.  This was originally requested by Jody from a Chevy/GMC dealership in Montana.

Miscellaneous Fixes:

• Additional Instant Screen w/AutoSummary fixes for loan specific information.  We are also now rounding the APR displayed on the prospect log browse.
• On the Saved Deals screen, a saved deal that has already been delivered can  no longer be delivered again (only possible by transferring customer to another dealership and changing the status multiple times.)  Reported by a used car dealership in Montana.
• While on a desking screen, changing the stock number to some types of unbooked vehicles and then attempting to print a proposal would cause an error.  Reported by a Kia dealership in Florida.

 

ProMax version release - 9.7.13. May 24, 2012

Version 9.7.13 is scheduled for release on May 24, 2012.  

Version Highlights:

• The Risk Based Pricing Notice is a compliance requirement and we can configure a FailSafe program to automatically print and mail these notices to your customers if you do not get a chance to print them yourself.  We now offer a customizable delay period for this FailSafe program to kick-in.  We can automatically print the notices the following business day, or we can wait up to 20 days for you to handle the notices internally and only handle those that you missed.  It's a great automated compliance feature that your dealership should seriously consider signing up for if you haven't already done so.  See the Risk Based Pricing page on our website for a sample of the notice, a short FAQ, and a YouTube video.

Other Additions:

• The zip code lookup feature, which was introduced in the last version that populates the City and State fields based on the zip code entered, has been added to the Credit App screens, and to EZUP.
• ProCredit Express users now have an option in config that allows for a customizable pop-up message whenever a Credit Report is pulled that is below a defined credit score. 
• When delivering a deal and stocking in a trade-in, there is a new option to overwrite an existing inventory record that has a matching stock number.  
• Custom forms now have a flag available for Aftermarket items if they are capitalized or due up front.

Miscellaneous Fixes:

• Fixed the display of the Last Activity Date on some Experian credit reports.
• The make/model filter on the Salesperson Inventory Report was not always showing all the makes and models from vehicles across the dealer group.
• A minor tweak was made to the GFS Electronic Credit App Submittal for employer/income fields.
• Deal updates from the Reynolds Two-Way Integration were sometimes causing inadvertent loss of Advertising or Lead sources.
• There were some Instant Screen+AutoSummary fixes made for that recent feature which affected some dealers.
• The maximum payment calculated for Bi-weekly payment lease deals on the Deal Worksheet were sometimes too low.
• The Risk Based Pricing flag on the Compliance Review Report was adjusted when pulling multiple credit reports on the same customer on the same day after a notice was also printed or emailed the same day.

Version 9.7.12 is scheduled for release on May 17, 2012.  

Version Highlights:

• Mercedes-Benz certified lead integration is now available.
• Customer Suggestion Received:  There is now a zipcode lookup on the Customer Workscreen and the Run CB screens.  If you type in a zipcode and the city+state fields are blank, they should be automatically populated based on a zicode lookup.  If the city+state fields are already filled-in but are different, then a pop-up confirmation occurs to update the city+state based on the zipcode lookup.  We plan on adding support for this feature in other screens in a later release.  Thank-you Chad for the feedback!

Other Additions:

• Customer Suggestion Received:  We now automatically detect Bounced emails if you use GMail or Everyone.net as your email provider as our previous bounce detection was not working for these common providers.  If a bounced message is detected (which determines the customer's email address is permanently undeliverable) then the customer is flagged as Unsubscribed to remove them from future mass mailings (to reduce the number of spam red flags associated with your mailings), a note is added to the Customer Workscreen which states that their email address is invalid, and the subject line in the Inbox is prefixed with '[Bounced]' so you know that the message has automatically been handled.  Thank-you Ryan for the feedback!
• Customer Suggestion Received:  Extended the width of the stock number listed on the Sold Vehicle History Panel displayed on the Customer Workscreen for the dealers with long stock numbers.  Thank-you Mike for the feedback!
• A inventory note is now added when a vehicle is transferred from one dealership to another.
• Speed increases have been implemented for the Daily WorkPlan.

Miscellaneous Fixes:

• Some Instant Screens were incorrectly displaying the customer as a First Time Buyer due to a recent change made.
• Corrected the Lead Management Report to not include the Reynolds provided wholesale deals.
• The Internet Dashboard Leads Report were sometimes linking directly to the co-applicants workscreen instead of the joint workscreen.
• The OwnerBase had some deliveries with blank salespersons due to some issues with deliveries without showroom visits being marked.
• Appointments no longer appears on the past due section of the Heat Sheet Detail Report and the Daily Work Plan will no longer show future appointments under the 'Other' section.
• Removed Current Employment+Monthly Income requirements for the Gateway Financial electronic credit app submittals.

Mercedes certified lead integration now available

We are now a Certified Lead Management Partner (CLMP) for Mercedes.  The lead integration testing was completed today and the real time lead disposition reporting has just been activated on production.

Version 9.7.11 was released May 10, 2012.  

Highlights:

• Electronic application submittals to CUDL is now out of Beta and available to all dealers.   Contact your Trainer today to get signed up on this integration.

Other Additions:

• Customer Suggestion Received:  Total Cost is a calculated field in ProMax inventory and was not able to be downloaded from DMS systems (we sometimes downloaded Total Cost to the Invoice field.)  Downloading Total Cost is now supported by most inventory imports now with some additional configuration by the integrations department.  Thank-you Terry for the feedback!
• Customer Suggestion Received:  Clicking on column headers in the Recall screen will now sort the results in alternating ascending/descending order based on the column clicked.  Thank-you Jennifer for the feedback!
• Customer Suggestion Received:  Instead of requiring a mouse click on the Start Search button on the Recall screen, allow keyboard action to being search.  We have had this feature, it just wasn't very obvious so we've added a message on the screen to use Ctrl-Enter to begin the search.  Thank-you Nadean for the feedback!
• New lender guideline option added for calculating advance based on greater of NADA Trade, BlueBook Wholesale, or Black Book Clean for a few local lenders requiring those values.
• The certified lead integrations for Toyota, Lexus, Volvo, VW, and Mitsubishi now offer customizable Lead Source overrides.
• ProCreditExpress users can now mark credit apps as Manually Submitted.
• The Privacy Notice printouts can now be customizable per dealership in the Dealer Admin section:
  
  

Fixes:

• Custom dealer logos on the Alt-Choice Proposal  weren't being displayed when vehicle photos were also displayed.
• The Internet Dashboard Leads Report has been updated for customers that were merged more than once so their hyperlink will always be to the latest customer workscreen.
• The Red Flag Status column header clicked in the Recall screen would generate an error.
• Removed the unused customer name hyperlink in the Appointment Reminder pop-up screen.

Additions:

• There is a new Employee Logon Detail Report available in the Admin section.  This will list all logon data such as date/time, workstation name, IP address and is used for tracking logon activity of your ProMax instance.

• Printing the Daily Work Plan for dealers on the Reynolds Integration will no longer include the updates notes containing NPI (such as DL/SSN.)

Fixes:

• Unfortunately, yesterday's version introduced some issues with the proposals which have been quickly taken care of in this release.

 

ProMax version release - 9.7.8. May 2, 2012

Highlights:

• Instant Screen now includes AutoSummary - a very powerful combination.  View score + auto trade information without pulling a credit report and without getting a signature.

Fixes:

• Automated Followup scheduled for deliveries were sometimes using the oldest, rather than the newest delivery details for a customer.
• Merging customers received from Reynolds wasn't always storing the store number.
• Sales Ranking Report fix for not counting cash deals in certain scenarios.

 

Volvo certified lead integration now available

A new  OEM certified lead integration is now available - this time for Volvo dealerships.  The lead integration testing was completed and the real time lead disposition reporting was activated on production on 4/30/2012.
